When we had dropped Timothy off at school this morning we were heading towards Nathan's daycare, as we usually do when I have to go to work. Today we have no organized sessions but I decided to go to the gym to do some extra work due to me being in Berlin this weekend. Hence why we were headed to daycare on my day off.

Instead of following that plan Nathan shook his head and said no when pointing the nursery and that was all it took for me to bring him with me to the gym and have him close to me. Honestly I am also secretly happy to introduce the kids to training as we need some balance to
screen time.

If I have day off I always try to combine chores and looking after kids as I feel they should be with us if possible. Today my session was a bit compromised but if it leads to a happy and healthy boy I am happy to do so. Combining a perfect career as an athlete with parenthood isn't always easy, all I can do is try my best.

Speaking of which, I better leave this position to go hoover, as we need a clean house to celebrate Timothy's birthday.

Now that January's almost over we have a 2 year old and a 5 year old in the house and I am so happy and thankful to spend as much time possible with them.
