Just a little reminder about social media: people only show you what they WANT you to see! Everyone has their own struggles and battles in life. No one’s life is perfect, no matter how it may look from the outside. I’ve found it’s really interesting to see how people relate to me, depending on what I post on social media. I’ve been playing pickup and doing some training again, but still fighting to get healthy from this flareup of Ulcerative Colitis. Yesterday, after a fun and energizing pickup session with some of my good friends, I came home and had to get an infusion of a new medication. This isn’t meant to elicit sympathy or say “poor me.” It’s meant as a personal reminder, and hopefully a reminder to you, that social media only tells part of the story!
