Today, after 19 incredible years, I have decided to announce my retirement from professional soccer. In the last couple of months I have discovered that the hardest part in professional sport is to stop. This sport gave me so much. Be it a season or a single game, winning or losing, passion, excitement, joining different teams, in different countries… but at the end all good things must come to an end! Immense gratitude to everyone, family, clubs, coaches, staff, teammates and all fans, who have supported me throughout my career. You all have always made me feel home and it is something I will always remember. It has been a fabulous journey! Thank you
