People often talk about the Cristiano & Messi rivalry and how it spurs them both on to improve and remain at the top. That’s what Arsene Wenger & Sir Alex Ferguson were to each other too for a period of time.

Manchester United were the benchmark when Arsene arrived. He changed the game, brought in new updated methods and began winning trophies. This gave Fergie things to think about and reshape. He done that and managed to turn the tables back in Man United favour. That rivalry was over a long period and brought so many emotions, moments, joy & tears for all associated with both clubs. A moment in English football history that will be remembered. Arsene Wenger changed the game in the UK for the better - in many ways a revolutionary. Diet, training methods etc. Everyone had to adapt or be left behind. He injected life into already top level careers & also gave many the opportunity to have a career.

How many people have revolutionised an industry?? Arsene Wenger did - and won trophies doing it.

I wish him well in whatever he decides to do next.
